Fundraising team always on the lookout for prizes

RAFT’s fundraising team prides itself on never purchasing auction or raffle prizes for events.  Donors trust us with their donations and we take this responsibility extremely seriously.  Funds raised for research are spent on research.

We are therefore always keeping our eyes and ears open in order to secure prizes for our events.

Can you help?  Do you have any unwanted gifts that we might be able to use?  Have you been given a bottle of champagne…..but don’t actually like it?  Please consider donating it to RAFT – it would make a lovely raffle prize either on its own or part of a hamper.

Likewise, do you a link to an ‘experience’ or ‘something that money can’t buy’ that we could auction?  Please give us a call – we’d love to hear from you.

Belinda’s Quiz Night in aid of RAFT

My Quiz night on Tuesday 22nd March was a big success!

Held at the Frog Pub in Clapham Old Town.

Johnny Zuccarelli the pub Manager was very generous  with drink vouchers, raffle prize donations and helping out on the night.

Everyone said it was so much fun and we really had a great turn out.

The Quiz Master Peter Williamson was fantastically entertaining and kept the night running along.

The Raffle Prizes were a big hit too, with such attractive prizes, this brought in over half of the money raised.

Total raised : £690 on the night for RAFT!

This really helped top up my Virgin Money Giving page as I am sure you can see I am now over my promised Marathon target for RAFT

Clay Pigeon Shoot 2012

RAFT will be holding its 15th Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot on Wednesday 20th June this year at the Holland & Holland Shooting Ground in West London.

We hope to beat last year’s fundraiser and raise £100k+ in aid of RAFT’s research into the treatment of severe burns and chronic wounds and if you want to enter a team and help us achieve that,  contact Event Organiser Christine Miles on 01923 844371 or email her at miles@raft.ac.uk.
